Day of Checklist

Volunteering in a new environment can be stressful at times. We have created a day of checklist for your to make sure your experience is as smooth as possible.

Dress to impress

We work in a safe environment where you don’t have to worry about much, but keep in mind you will be on your feet for a few hours and will be working with messy foods. Please dress ready to interact with people and get potentially dirty.

Give yourself Time

Although we are not working in deep downtown, we are still in an area that may have limited parking space. Give yourself enough time to find street parking and get to the tent by 8:45am!

We love pictures and how they have the ability to hold on to moments. Because we want to respect our friends’ privacy we ask that you keep your picture focused on you and our other volunteers. We take many pictures and post them here on the website and on Instagram so feel free to grab your picture from there! Also, if you are going to post on social media, make sure to tag us @pancakepeeps and @sawubonainc !
